FAQ
1.
I don't have any skills to use in my volunteer hours. What should I do?
Our volunteers are just regular moms. We promise there is something you can help with, even if you feel inadequate. If you have a skill or resource not listen in the voletnerr positions, let us know!
2.
My child has a few conflict with rehearsals, do they have a chance to get cast?
Kids are busy and teens are even busier! It depends on the show and the situation but chances are they should audition and expect a good part since we are used to working around crazy schedules.
3.
My child is new, will they feel out of place without friends?
We have new children join our community every semester. We do our best to help them make friends and feel comfortable in their parts. We have a great group of youth who are open to new friends.
4.
My child is younger then the age limit, what are my options?
The best thing to do is to contact us and we can give you more specific options. Our age limits are set for a reason and generally we find its better to stick with the limit but we have options for everyone!
5.
We are out of town during auditions, what can we do?
Contact us! We still want to see your child audition. We can set up a different time for them to come in or you can send in a video auditions! Don't let vacations stop your child from shining!
6.
How are you dealing with COVID 19?
We are waiting to see where things go, just like a lot of other groups. We would love to continue our productions that were put on hold as well as hold a new production next semester as well.
7.
How do I know when to apply for Shine Camp and does my group qualify?
We start taking applications for shine camp in January at the beginning of each year. Telling us you're interested before hand doesn't hurt either. Any performing group is invited.
