About
Shine Performing Arts
Julie and Megan started directing musical theater in 2015. Before this they had mostly been involved in homeschool Shakespearian troupes. 2015 was is also the year they established "Shine Camp", a performing arts camp for homeschool youth held annually in May.
In 2018 they saw the need for the arts start to blossom in their community. They were eager to form a group that was not exclusive by school group or community. They established Shine Performing Arts that very year and began producing children's theater for homeschool youth and elementary schools. This mother-daughter duo state that Shine Performing Arts is about opening up opportunities, letting kids have a community where they can make friends, discover talents, and work on teams to make something beautiful. They do not limit children just because they are young, they believe that every child deserves a chance to Shine.

Mission
We resolve to open opportunities for friendship, growth and light, giving every child a chance to Shine.
